Music Documentary: Sir Shina Peters speaks...

I know now what it means for something to be a labor of love. I feel like I've been working on this documentary forever! Despite the time it has taken, I feel encouraged that every time a new piece of the puzzle emerges, and every time I start editing it again, I'm  still excited about the stories I'm telling. That's a good sign, right?

Here's a short clip from the Legendary Sir Shina Peters, from my interview with him. In it, he talks about how he's influenced the younger generation, and even spits a few bars :) Enjoy

Please let me know what you think of it, and do comment, share, and subscribe here, and to my youtube channel! I appreciate y'all!

Works in Progress - My Documentary!

When you say you're a documentary maker, you should probably make a documentary, right? No-brainer. So, after several years of working with others on documentary projects, I've been working on a documentary series of my own and on my own. I've still got a ways to go, but I'll be releasing more and more as time goes on and I do more filming. For now, here's a 30 second teaser of what will eventually become a 13 episode documentary on Nigerian Music, from the stables of Onyx Productions! Whoo!

I'm talking to legends like Sir Shina Peters and Laolu Akins, Industry insiders and music fans like TY Mix, DJ Jimmy Jatt, and Tosyn Bucknor, and many many more.

Let me know what music means to you, who some of your favorite Naija musicians are, old and new, and of course, please like, rate, subscribe, share, share, share, and SHARE!! Thanks for your support, guys!
