QOTD: Letting life cut you open

Who told you to dare be less than what you were made to be? I already know the answer. Life, right? Yeah, it's done it to me, too. It's done it to a lot of us. Being your real, full self sometimes takes a lot more courage than we think we have, but even if it takes baby steps, like saying No to something or someone once, or deciding to tell someone the truth about your feelings and thoughts, then do that. The longer we cling to ideas, things or people that don't help us move forward, the more harm we do ourselves in the long run. It's a brand new month, and the year is coming to an end. Do yourself this favor, and let go. Growth is never a bad thing.

Remember this; being honest and true to yourself should be your priority. Be the best version of yourself you can be; everyone else will be just fine.

As much as I'm talking to you, I'm talking to myself! Am I right or am I right? Let me know what you think in the comment box, y'all! Till next time.

Negativity - QOTD

An entire sea of water can’t sink a ship unless it gets inside the ship. Similarly, the negativity of the world can’t put you down unless you allow it to get inside you.
— Goi Nasu

It's usually quite easy for me to get into a cycle of negativity if I allow one or two bad thoughts/experiences to weigh me down. The trick, for me, is to think of one or two great things to counteract that bad thought. I don't always win, but I hope this is a reminder that we should always try. Be encouraged!

Have a great week, and please remember to  like, subscribe, share and come back!!

Stay Curious - QOTD

The important thing is not to stop questioning. Curiosity has its own reason for existing.
— Albert Einstein

Yes, I know curiosity killed the cat. But asking questions in search of knowledge to better yourself and/or the world around you is not the same as just looking for gossip or gist. I believe that once we start asking the right questions and equipping ourselves with information instead of being lemmings, blindly following fads or people who want to lead us, then I think we'll be better off for it. Whether with politics, at work, in our families, friendships and other relationships, never stop questioning. Most of all, question your own actions to make sure you're doing the right thing; the unselfish thing; the good thing.Let me know what you think of Einstein's thoughts :)

P.S: Don't say I told you to question your boss, or go look into someone's private biz!! :P

Thanks for stopping by, have a kick-ass week, and don't forget to like the post, leave a comment,or subscribe! If you really love me, you'll do all three! ;)
