QOTD: The Fear of Solitude

The beginning of this reads like the Beatitudes, and I definitely think it's a good piece of advice to heed. In the past, a lot of us have (and many still do) fear being alone with our own thoughts because sometimes our thoughts take us to dark places that we'd rather not deal with...

QOTD: The Great Things

I don't know about you, but before anyone has had the chance to say "Oh, Lamide, you did this wrong," I've often already carried the biggest (metaphorical) stick and walloped myself with it.

Losing Yourself - QOTD

Love You - QOTD

The fact that someone else loves you doesn’t rescue you from the project of loving yourself
— Sahaj Kohli

Sometimes, even when you know someone loves you, your own self-doubt has you wondering why they love you or why they "chose" you, but that's a dangerous path to go down. Here's to loving ourselves even when we're still works in progress!
